Florian T. Walter, DO
Dr. Walter is a Board certified Ob/Gyn and has practiced in the west valley since 2004.He graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He worked for two years in research at the University of Illinois in Chicago on an experimental medication to help stop premature labor. He graduated from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1993 and graduated from his internship in 1994. He completed his residency at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998.
Dr. Walter worked for five years in Joliet, Illinois and moved to Arizona in 2004. He became board certified in 2000. Dr. Walter is the Chairman of the department of Ob/Gyn at Banner Estrella Medical Center. In 2007 and 2009, he was selected 'Top Doc' by patients at Banner Estrella Medical Center. In 2010, he was selected 'Top Doc' in Phoenix Magazine's annual edition.
Dr. Walter is married with three preteen/teenage boys and lives in the west valley. He enjoys jogging and skiing. His areas of special interest are pregnancy, endometriosis, pelvic pain, and menopause and feels that education about a patient's condition is a priority.
