Taking care of the little things can make a big difference.
Your growing baby is totally dependent upon you during its first few months of life. What you eat, drink and inhale is crucial to your baby's overall growth and wellbeing. So is how much you sleep and exercise. Of course, genetics plays a big role, too.

Midwifery Services
Midwives approach pregnancy and birth as normal physiologic events for healthy women. Midwives are experts at educating women about normal changes and identifying sympÂÂtoms that require calling the attention of a physician.
The midwives at Estrella Women's Health Center are Certified-Nurse Midwives who have master's degrees in nursing and are certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
Labor & Delivery
Chances are likely that you'll go into labor between 37 and 41 weeks. Estrella Women's Health Center for Women provides the expertise you want for a smooth labor and delivery. Your OB physician will do everything possible to be on call to deliver your baby, and meets this goal 90 percent of the time.
You can be assured of a safe, healthy and memorable experience at either Banner Estrella Medical Center or West Valley Hospital.
Post-Delivery Services
Your baby requires undivided attention. So do you.
The six-week period after delivery is called the postpartum period. During this time, you'll recover from both pregnancy and delivery. Now more than ever, it's important to practice mental and physical self-care, and prioritize your life so you can give your baby the gift of your undivided attention. Acquiring new skills - such as breastfeeding - take more time and effort than you'd think.
Having the right information when you need it can help. At Estrella Women's Health Center, we're here to help you every step of the way.
